Our ethos...
"Don't just tell children about the world, show them... let the journey begin"
Forest School is an inspirational child centred approach to learning. Your child will be learning life long, valuable skills at their own pace whilst having fun. We have designed our own curriculum that your Child will cover during their time at Wild Roots. Our unique curriculum covers 6 fundamental areas of the forest school ethos over the course of a year, so children benefit from the long term, repeated exposure of outdoor learning.
Acorn
Looking and Learning
Your child will begin to experience the awe and wonder of the forest, learning as they play at their own pace.
Sapling
Practising and Persevering
Endless opportunities to practise and persevere with their new skills in a safe and nurturing environment.
Oak
Confident and Courageous
Watch your child flourish with confidence and courage as they use their new skills and become a forest friend.
What parents have to say...
My two children, ages 2 and 6, have been attending Forest School with Kate from the start. It’s their favourite day of the week. They love the different activities they get do to, there is always something new. Whether it’s, making dens, bug houses, going on a hunt, painting with leaves and sticks, the kids always have fun. The kids love that they get to come home with the things they have made. Their favourite part of the session is sitting round the fire circle, singing songs and roasting marshmallows.

Who we work with...
We at Wild Roots Forest School work very closely and actively support the charity Church Crookham and Fleet Mens Shed. We love to fund raise for them and in turn they help to make us wonderful resources and we share our fire circle area with “the shed”, so will likely enjoy popping over to say hello by the fire.
